We go past the Battleship Texas on every one of our harbor Galveston Historic Harbor Tours.

In early October 1913, Battleship TEXAS was under construction and nearly ready for standardization trials. In this photograph, you can see the ship's name on the stern, three installed 5"/51 cal. guns, and both of the cage masts, which had not yet been completed.
