🌸✨ One of the biggest bucket list experiences of our trip to Paris finally came true! 🇫🇷💕
As a Christmas gift, my husband surprised our daughter and me with a Create Your Own Signature Scent workshop at Molinard, one of the oldest perfume houses in France. It was an experience I’ll never forget! ❤️
On a warm Paris afternoon, escaping into the cool, elegant workshop was the perfect break from the heat. Over the course of an hour, we learned the art and science of perfume making—how different fragrance families work together, how to identify the notes we were naturally drawn to, and how to build a scent that was uniquely our own. 🌺🍋🌿
The workshop includes 90 different fragrance notes, all carefully designed to blend beautifully together. Once we chose our favorites, one of the perfumers guided us through the exact formula—telling us how much of each fragrance to add and the precise order to pour them into our bottle. It was fascinating to watch our personal perfumes come to life! 🧪✨
At the end, we each left with a 50 mL bottle of our one-of-a-kind fragrance and a unique identification number. That means whenever we’re back in Paris, Molinard can recreate our exact perfume for us. How amazing is that? 🤩
Now comes the hardest part… we have to wait one full week for our fragrances to fully mature and blend before we can wear them! ⏳💐 I already can’t wait to experience the finished scent.
This wasn’t just a souvenir—it was a memory we’ll have forever. Thank you to my husband for such a thoughtful Christmas gift and for helping us check off one of my biggest Paris bucket list experiences. ❤️
