We are hiring! Adkins and sons is seeking a dedicated full time employee to add to our team.
Job Description:
This position is for a construction laborer to assist with the setup/teardown of modular buildings and mobile homes. Job responsibilities include assisting with carrying block, building support piers, leveling the trailer, anchoring and strapping the trailer, skirting if required, interior and exterior trim out if there's multiple pieces, installing roof caps or shingles if there's multiple pieces, digging/pouring footers if required, breaking down multiple pieces and preparing for transport.
Requirements:
1. Atleast 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check
2. Physically able to lift 50+ pounds, climb a ladder, crawl, handle the elements, etc. We primarily work outside and the work that we do is physically demanding.
3. Willing to follow safety procedures as specified per job site. We often work on construction sites with different levels of safety regulations. Compliance and dedication to working safe in these locations is mandatory.
4. Basic construction skills such as reading a tape measure, operating power tools, etc. We are willing to train you but common sense is a must.
The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
