🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-64 Rehabilitation Project 🚧

⚠️KYTC advises motorists of upcoming traffic shifts and a ramp closure associated with the ongoing I-64 rehabilitation project in Fayette, Scott and Woodford counties.

🔸 Through Wednesday, June 3: The left lane and shoulder remain closed on I-64 westbound between the Cane Run Road overpass bridge and the U.S. 421 overpass bridge for bridge restoration and pavement repairs.

🔸 Beginning Wednesday night, June 3: The KY 341 (Midway) westbound entrance ramp to I-64 westbound will be closed for pavement reconstruction.

🔸 Thursday, June 4 through June 19: The right lane and shoulder will be closed on I-64 westbound between the Cane Run Road overpass bridge and the U.S. 421 overpass bridge for bridge restoration and pavement repairs.

Motorists should plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.

We are very excited for the 4th annual Caleb Conley softball tournament coming next weekend June 5-7th. Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms and the values that make our nation strong. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the liberties we enjoy each day were secured through the courage, sacrifice, and selfless service of America’s heroes.

On behalf of the Scott County Fiscal Court, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the families of our fallen service members and to all veterans who have answered the call to serve. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I also want to extend a sincere thank you to the American Legion and the Auxiliary for hosting today’s meaningful wreath ceremony at the Scott County Courthouse. Your continued commitment to honoring our nation’s heroes helps ensure their legacy lives on for future generations.

May we always remember those who gave everything for our country, and may God continue to bless our veterans, their families, and the United States of America.
