lot of people don't know what working with a travel advisor actually looks like, so I wanted to walk you through my process. It's not a search bar, and it's not an agent who books your trip and disappears. It's a relationship, start to finish, and I lead you from step-to-step to make both planning and travel a breeze!

– It starts with a real conversation, not a form. An online engine asks for dates and a budget. I want to know who you are before I ever touch a calendar.
– We talk travel, the who, when, and where, sure, but also the why. That's the part a booking site never asks, and it's what shapes everything after.
– You hire me, and the real work begins, this is where most "travel agents" stop paying attention. Not me.
– I come back with a proposal built entirely around you, no templates or canned itineraries, plus a video walking you through the why behind every choice. Not quite right? Two rounds of revisions are baked in.
– You review, you approve, and I book. You stay in the driver's seat the whole way.
– As your trip gets closer, I check in. Booking isn't the finish line, it's just the starting line.
– Right before you leave, we hop on a pre-travel call to tie up every loose end.
– And once you're on the road? You've got a digital itinerary app in hand. Flight change, closed excursion, whatever goes sideways, you're not on hold with a call center and you're not starting over with a stranger. You've got me and my in-destination partners, until you're home.

An algorithm can't build a relationship. And a travel agent who books and moves on isn't building one either. I am. You're a traveler, not a transaction. Ready to have a partner in your corner, not just a booking receipt? Let's talk.

Three itineraries on my desk right now, and I am OBSESSED. 😍

I get to build trips for a living, and this week is a perfect reminder of why I love it so much. Here's what's currently making me giddy:

✈️ Rome, Tuscany & Florence β€” a wedding trip done right

This one is built around a dear friend's wedding in Tuscany, and every detail after that is just as special. We're talking private transfers between cities, luxury boutique hotels, a nighttime golf cart tour of Rome (with drinks, because why not), a hands-on pasta making class, and a day trip to Pompeii via high-speed train with a guide by their side the entire day. This is Italy done at exactly the right pace β€” beautiful, personal, and never rushed.

πŸ—½ NYC Holiday Girls' Trip β€” mother, daughter, and friends

A mother-daughter trip with friends, centrally located so every plan is a short walk away. Holiday shopping, ice skating at the Bryant Park Winter Village, Broadway shows, the Rockettes, The Nutcracker, and a walking food tour through Hell's Kitchen. This is the kind of trip that becomes a core memory β€” and I got to build the whole thing around them.

🌺 Hawaii by Pride of America β€” built for their needs, not just the destination

This one is deeply personal β€” designed around the client's mobility needs from the very first transfer. We built in an early arrival so they can actually enjoy Waikiki (not just recover from travel), custom private tours in each port centered on what they love β€” turtles, pineapples, luaus, Pearl Harbor, and more. Accessible doesn't mean scaled back. It means thoughtful, and this itinerary is exactly that.

Three completely different trips, three completely different people β€” and that's exactly why I love this job. No algorithm builds a trip like this. This takes listening, relationships, and a whole lot of heart.

Which one would you want to steal for yourself? πŸ‘‡

There's a version of you that only shows up after a few days somewhere new. You achieve slower mornings, sharper senses, a mind that finally stops replaying yesterday's inbox. Travel doesn't just move your body across a map. It resets something. New streets, new rhythms, new light β€” and suddenly the fog lifts and the ideas come easier.

If you've been feeling stuck, this is your reminder: sometimes the fix isn't more rest, it's more distance.

6 Fun Facts About Me πŸŽ‰

1️⃣ I used to peddle drugs πŸ’Š... legally, of course! One of my first "big girl jobs" was a pharmaceutical sales rep, promoting erectile dysfunction medication. I know more about the male anatomy than I ever needed to. πŸ™ˆ

2️⃣ I watch Friends almost every single night. πŸ“Ί No, I'm not tired of it. Yes, I have a favorite episode. Don't test me. πŸ˜‚

3️⃣ My first job ever was filling feed buckets on the family dairy farm πŸ„. 5 AM wake-ups before I could even drive were character building, apparently. ⏰

4️⃣ My hometown roots run deep 🌽, and I never left my small Illinois town for the first 18 years of my life. From there, life took me all over: Indianapolis, Seattle, and Chicago, with stops in Champaign and Carbondale mixed in along the way (two great college towns, where I got my Master's and my husband got his Bachelor's degree πŸŽ“), before finally landing in the St. Louis Metro. 🏑

5️⃣ I started college on the pharmacist track, got bored after a year, switched to Dietetics, and then a certain tube-feeding video sealed my decision to pivot straight into a Master's in Business Administration after undergrad. πŸ“š Never got my dietetics credentials. Never practiced. Never looked back.

6️⃣ I've been told I have quick wit, great humor, and a smile that talks before I do. 😏 Trust me, if my mouth doesn't say it, my face will.

Which one surprised you the most? πŸ‘‡

"...easily the best trip we've ever taken." πŸ’žβœˆοΈπŸ’ž

Another glowing client review just made my Monday! This one is especially special, as she was THE FIRST CLIENT to reach out when I announced my travel business.

She was planning ahead (which I love!) and had a special family trip out West on her radar for summer 2027. It was such a fun trip to plan: flying out and road-tripping back to the Midwest, with fun stops along the way. 🀩

I'm so appreciative of my clients, and so, so thankful when they take a few moments to share their feedback. It helps me improve, and honestly, it fuels me to keep going! 😘

AI and online booking sites don't care, BUT...

I DO!!!!!!!!!!

CONFESSION: I don't spend a ton of time managing and posting online. Not because I don't care, but because I'm busy actually doing the work of designing custom itineraries, getting on the phone with clients, and building real relationships with in-destination partners who are, you know, actual people.

I could churn out AI-designed flyers, cookie-cutter AI itineraries that don't hold up in reality, and generic content like everyone else seems to be doing right now, BUT I WON'T! I'm tired of scrolling past online garbage that looks polished but says nothing...it all looks the same, with no real substance behind it. (And I'm devastated that AI killed the "em dash" for me...because I actually knew what it was, how to use it, and how to get my keyboard to type it!!)

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I still believe in handwritten notes, phone calls instead of chatbots, and meeting people in person. Remembering the little things about your trip because I actually talked to you about them, not because an algorithm logged your preferences.

A booking site doesn't care if your trip is perfect. It just cares that you clicked "confirm." I CARE. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!

So if I'm not online 24/7, that's why. I'd rather spend that time on you!

Dream trips don't wait for a "perfect" bank balance β€” they wait for a plan. The courage isn't in spending more than you have, it's in deciding an experience is worth planning for. We believe in spending on what actually stays with you β€” the meal you still think about, the sunrise you almost skipped, the conversation with a guide who became a friend β€” not just the things that gather dust.

Set the budget, book smart, and let value and experience be the compass.

With AI and online booking engines, many wonder if a travel advisor is really worth it? Here's what you actually get when you hire me:

Passion, not just a job. Travel is what I live and breathe, and that passion shapes every trip I plan.

Exclusive value. Room upgrades, private tours, and perks you simply won't find with a Google search.

Expert planning. Years of experience and insider knowledge, built into an itinerary that maximizes your time and your investment.

A global network. Trusted partners around the world, unlocking experiences most travelers never find on their own.

Logistics, handled. Flights, hotels, transfers, excursions, all covered, so you can just focus on the fun.

A trip built for you. No templates. Your interests, your pace, your budget.

Support that doesn't quit. I'm with you before you even hire me, through the whole trip, and until you're safely home.

That's the difference a travel advisor makes. I've just opened up my September calendar, and if Spring Break travel is on your radar, now's the time to start planning. Ready to hire me? Send me a message!

Tailored Journey Secured: Greece, May 2027 πŸ‡¬πŸ‡·

I was thrilled to curate this client's journey through Athens, Naxos, and Chania for May 2027.

Three places.
Three completely different rhythms.
One itinerary built entirely around them.

This trip was designed around their pace, their interests, and the level of in-destination support they wanted. Private transfers throughout. Private and small-group tours. An itinerary planned down to the detail, with room left for discovery.

Athens for the history. The Acropolis at golden hour, ruins you can stand inside instead of just read about. The Plaka District, where you can wander markets like the locals and find your piece of paradise to bring home. Naxos for the slower days. Hidden coves and family-run tavernas. Chania for the layers. Venetian harbor light, Cretan markets, and some of the best food of the trip.

That's the balance we're always chasing. Everything handled, nothing over-scheduled. A meal at a table you'd never find on your own. An afternoon wandering a market with no set plan. A piece of history you get to touch instead of just photograph.

So proud of this one. Can't wait to see it come to life. βœˆοΈπŸ«’
