When I first started working with this couple, the plan was simple: flights and travel protection so they could visit family abroad. When their plans changed, I had the chance to do what I love most, which is curating a tailored itinerary. With 12 days for their visit, they had plenty of time to experience Vienna, and we even fit in a few day trips to the surrounding areas!

Travel might be the best teacher there is.

You can read about a place. You can watch a hundred documentaries, or TikToks, or influencer reels. None of it does what standing there does.

Eating the food. Hearing the language. Sitting at someone else's table and realizing how much you have in common with people who live nothing like you do.

That's the trip I plan for. Not the highlight reel, the real one. The kind that makes you more curious, and reminds you we're more alike around the world than we are different.

City escapes are my favorite kind of trip to plan. 🌆 I picked six cities I love: New York City, London, Budapest, Paris, Sydney, and Rome, and each one has something completely different to offer depending on who's visiting. I'm sharing my personal favorite time to go to each city, along with the restaurant I always come back to. These aren't pulled from a Top 10 list or a quick Google search. They're what I've actually loved on my own trips.

Here's the thing: my favorite time to go might not be your ideal time, and my favorite restaurant might not match your palate. That's kind of the point. These cities can be six totally different trips depending on the traveler, and matching that timing, that pace, and that taste to you is exactly what I do.

Somewhere along the way we got told to pick a lane. One career, one hobby, one place to plant roots and stay.

But the world is too big to stay in one place, and life is too short to do just one thing. I happen to think that's exactly right.

This is why I love building trips that don't look like everyone else's Europe trip, or everyone else's Hawaii vacation, or everyone else's New York City city break. Your life doesn't fit one lane, so your travel shouldn't either.
