10/05/2026 Home School Group Trip: This group had arranged a group trip with us and also asked if we could have Jr Engineer School with them. Of course. Larry M, New Member Chis C and I took them around our Holiday Lights track and Pottsville Cutoff, where we will be running our Halloween Trains October 23rd & 24th, 2026 6-8pm. I tried to get a photo of each student taking their turn at the controls of Chessie switcher diesel. Some of the students stayed and helped put Chessie in the barn for the night. We even had them take a spin on the turntable. Great time was had be all! hank

10/-4/26: first run day of the 2026-27 run season. Great turn-out and not too hot. Jr Engineer trainer Avery was at the park and was helping other Jr Engineers learn how to run the Chessie train. Our current Jr Engineer Graduate card photo boys, Hunter & Wyatt stopped by today too. Great job to all the Jr Engineers! Thank you to Avery, Hunter and Wyatt! hank

Over the past few weeks, our track crew has been hard at work in the Arizona heat working on a major project. We have replaced all tracks and switches by the signal tower. With this we hope to make your ride even safer and optimize efficiency within the railroad. We look forward to seeing everyone in October for our first public runs of the season. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements.
