Vessel departed Newburyport bound for Miami but had an emergency stop in Gloucester. They had lost their radar and the port engine was overheating. The engine was apparently just an impeller and we got the radar going for them.
Off they went...

That was a warm one yesterday.... Garmin install in 90 degree heat under shrink wrap. I think I'm 10 pounds lighter. lol

I guess when you know your fishery you don't need a bottom machine. Such is the case with this customer. He didn't have a working bottom machine for about 5 years... During the recent haul out (huge shout out to Don King and the guys at the Railways), he figured it was time for a working sounder.
We added a 526TID-HDD transducer mated to Furuno's new FCV-800 which is a beauty of a sounder. Dual transducer input, nmea2000 and 0183. All the bells and whistles.
After this trip, we will add his Starlink.

*Never take for granted that the installer before you wouldn't use red for negative...

Fusion Head Unit and Wet Sounds speaker install on a 23 Pursuit.
The measurements for the 770 head unit were dead on and we chose the correct speaker locations. (When we cut them out, the factory wiring was revealed.)

Time to add Timezero, a Furuno DFF3D and multi beam transducer to the list...
