Some places you visit. Others stay with you.

India feels like one of those places. 🧡

Sunrise in the rose fields. The Taj Mahal in the evening light. Sacred rituals, colorful streets, incredible food and moments that are hard to explain until you’re standing right there experiencing them.

This isn’t just a trip to India. It’s a chance to experience a place that asks you to slow down, look a little deeper and take it all in — alongside a small group of women doing the same.

And I cannot wait to go back. 🇮🇳

So… which Sunny & Turquoise trip is right for you? ☀️

Maybe you’re torn between mountains and the sea. Hiking and adventure or slow mornings and long lunches. Italy, Greece, Mexico… or somewhere completely different.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

One of my favorite things is talking with women about how they actually like to travel — what sounds fun, what doesn’t, how active they want to be and, most importantly, how they want to feel on the trip.

But was it really worth flying to Italy for a hike?

Absolutely.

There is something about experiencing a place on foot that sightseeing alone can’t give you.

You climb. You breathe harder. Your legs get tired. You keep going. And somewhere along the way, everything else gets quieter.

For a little while, your world becomes the trail in front of you, the women beside you and the view around the next turn.

That is one of the things I love most about active travel. It reminds you what your body can do. It brings you fully into the moment. And it gives you that incredible feeling of reaching a place you truly worked for.

You may come for the mountains, but you leave remembering how strong, capable and alive you felt in them.

So, was it worth flying to Italy for a hike?

Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes. 🥾🇮🇹

A good trip should change your pace, not just your place. ☀️

One of the things I love most about travel is how quickly it can remind us to slow down and actually enjoy where we are.

I love a little adventure — the kind of day that leaves you saying, “I can’t believe we just did that!” But I also love slow mornings, long lunches, wandering through a beautiful little town, being outside, and a glass of wine with nowhere else we need to be. 🍷

That’s the balance I try to bring to every Sunny & Turquoise trip.

We’ll hike the mountain, take the boat, try something new and see the places we came all that way to experience. But there’s also room to linger over dinner, wander into a shop that catches your eye, laugh until your stomach hurts, or simply sit and take it all in.

Because the best trips aren’t about how much we can squeeze into a week. They’re about how that week makes us feel.

The older I get—and maybe especially on birthdays—the more I realize what a gift it is to have a body that can carry me through this world.

Up the hills. Down the trails. Through places that take my breath away and remind me just how much there still is to see.

I’m less interested in counting the years and more interested in being grateful for what those years still allow me to do.

To move. To explore. To travel. To stand somewhere beautiful in Greece and think, I can’t believe I get to be here.

And maybe that’s one of the reasons travel means more to me now than ever. It’s not just about seeing beautiful places. It’s about being IN them. Walking through them. Feeling them. Sharing them with other women. And realizing what a privilege it is that we get to experience any of this at all.

So on my birthday today, I’m feeling especially grateful for another year—and very excited about all the places I haven’t seen yet.

And if Greece has been calling you too… stay close. 🇬🇷☀️

"I put a lot of thought and care into every Sunny & Turquoise trip — but one thing I never want is for you to feel like you have to do it all.

If we’re hiking and your body is telling you it would rather have a slow coffee, wander through town, sit by the pool or simply have a little time to yourself… do that.

There’s no keeping up here.

Come as you are. Join in when it feels good. Take a little space when you need it. This is your trip, too.

Yes, I love bringing women together for incredible adventures, but I also believe there should be room to breathe, wander, rest and experience a place in your own way.

That freedom is something I intentionally build into every Sunny & Turquoise trip.

Five things worth the money… and somehow they all involve a girls trip. 😂☀️🍹

Because really, when was the last time you got away with your girlfriends? No work, no errands, no taking care of everyone else’s schedules. Just a few days to laugh way too much, explore somewhere new, sit by the pool, eat good food and remember how much fun you have together.

We’re pretty convinced that time with your girlfriends is always money well spent. 💛

So here’s your sign: tag the friend you’ve been saying “we need to take a trip together” with forever. 👇

I grew up with Dolly Parton.

In our house, the radio was always on. It was Hee Haw, Dolly, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash—the soundtrack of my childhood.

And even when I was little, there was something about Dolly I noticed. She was funny and playful, but she was also really smart. She could make you laugh while clearly knowing exactly who she was and what she was doing.

As I got older, I appreciated that even more.

For a woman coming up in an industry that wasn't exactly easy on women, she was pretty damn kick-ass. She built an incredible career without becoming anyone other than herself.

But what I admire most is what she did with that success. She showed up for women, for children, for her community, for the planet, and for people who needed a little help. She proved you can be wildly successful and still be generous, kind, funny, grounded—and use what you have to make things better for someone else.

I think that's why this one feels personal. She has just always been there.

What a life. What a woman. What a legacy.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughs, and for showing so many of us what it looks like to be completely, unapologetically yourself. 🤍 RIP Dolly

I think there comes a point when you realize the goal isn’t just to save for someday — it’s to actually live along the way. 🤍

Take the trip. Spend the weekend with your girlfriends. See somewhere new. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Watch the sunset. Say yes to the things that turn an ordinary day into a story you’ll tell for years.

Because when we look back, those are the things we’re going to remember.

That’s the kind of investment I’ll choose every time. ✨
