A soggy 500 mile 2 truck round trip today. Lets get it done!

We had a couple of days off from doing moves this week and got to flex our constructive muscles. This customers deck needed some extra reinforcement for a new hot tub.

First, we jacked up the right side to level out the front end from years of uneven loading, which had broke the old fasteners. After resecuring the sagging joist and adding some new lumber for strength, we dug out 2 holes below the frost line to concrete in the new 6x6 posts.

Now, we'll come back to run our new 2x10 supports underneathe the existing deck joists and bolt them into place. This deck will soon be ready for a fresh coat of stain, and a brand new hot tub!
