This is Rochelle's canoe Rental we offer a 10, 20, 30, or 40 mile trip down the Brazos River. Our 10 mile trip is about 6 hours long, The 20 mile trip is a one nighter but if you have two nights it’s amazing, 30 mile is a 3 nighter trip, Last but not least is our 40 mile which is a 4 nighter trip. We also offer shuttle drive service for people that own there own equipment. We have 15 acres of prim

Rochelle’s Canoe Rental recently lost some of the larger organizations and groups that normally come canoeing with us during the fall months, so we need our amazing customers more than ever!

After everything we’ve been through with the Ross Fire, we are determined to keep our family business and the legacy going strong. We’re still here, still putting canoes and kayaks on the Brazos, and we would LOVE to have y’all come out and enjoy the river with us!

🔥 THE ROSS FIRE MAY HAVE TAKEN OUR BUILDINGS, BUT IT DIDN’T TAKE ROCHELLE’S CANOE RENTAL. 🛶❤️

We are so excited to say WE WILL BE OPEN THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND!

We may not have a shop, an office, double wide, or all the things we had before—but we have our family, our river, and the determination to keep going.

Back in 1969, our great-grandparents started Rochelle’s Canoe Rental under a tree. And this weekend, that’s exactly where we’ll start again. 🌳🛶

Back to our roots. Back under the tree. Just like they did in 1969.

The ROSS Fire may have changed what Rochelle’s looks like, but it did NOT end our family’s legacy.

Since 1969—and we’re not stopping now. ❤️

❤️ ROCHELLE’S CANOE RENTAL — ITEMS NEEDED ❤️

Wow we can’t thank everyone enough who has been here since 7am this morning helping clean up our house and office! JD and Sawyer Roberts thank you for getting a crew together and help out. Finstincts

We will need help tearing down our shop but I think we need something bigger than skid steers this shop is at risk of falling and Buddy is trying to go in there and salvage something but nothing is salvageable.

As we begin the overwhelming process of rebuilding Rochelle’s Canoe Rental after losing everything in the fire, so many people have reached out asking what we need and how they can help. We truly cannot thank everyone enough.

Since essentially everything used to operate our business and shop was lost, we are starting from the ground up. Some of the items we are currently needing include:

• Life jackets — all sizes
• Canoe paddles
• Kayak paddles
• Hand tools & power tools
• Toolboxes & shop storage
• Air compressor
• Pressure washer
• Shop vacs
• Extension cords & electrical supplies
• Battery chargers
• Saws, grinders & drills
• Welding equipment & supplies
• Welder for repairing our aluminum canoes
• Aluminum canoe repair supplies
• Workbenches & shop tables
• Jacks, chains, straps & tie-downs
• Safety equipment
• lawn mowers
• Shelving & storage
• General shop supplies
• Canoe & kayak equipment
• Anything else that could help us rebuild and get Rochelle’s back up and running

We know this is a long road, and replacing everything that was built and collected over generations won’t happen overnight. Whether you are able to donate equipment, supplies, funds, your time, or simply share this post, every single bit of help means more to our family than we could ever put into words.
