Valley Bus has completed its investigation into the 10/6/26 route incident involving Viking and Ben Franklin students. The driver’s conduct was unacceptable, and his employment has been terminated.

We apologize to the students and families affected. Every student deserves safe transportation and respectful treatment.

Valley Bus is aware of the concerns shared about a bus serving Viking and Ben Franklin students. We take these reports seriously and understand how upsetting it is for families to hear that their child felt unsafe on the ride home. We have suspended the driver pending further review. We are reviewing the available bus video to investigate the reports about the driver’s language. Once that review is complete, we will determine the appropriate action.

Regardless of any student behavior concerns, we are responsible for transporting children safely and treating them respectfully. Families who contact us deserve to have their concerns heard and taken seriously. Parents with concerns can contact Valley Bus directly.
