AvaSure is the leading provider of 24/7 remote safety monitoring systems for hospitals and care facilities. Recently, KBOgroup partnered with AvaSure to produce their virtual symposium for over 400 nurses, doctors, and frontline healthcare workers.

We utilized a platform that allowed all guests to gather before and after the actual presentations at virtual tables, which allowed interaction much in the same way as would have been possible in a lobby before a live event. Presenters joined remotely from throughout the U.S. and Canada to facilitate the seven panel discussions including, keynotes by Wes Moore, CEO of Robin Hood, the largest anti-poverty force in the nation, and Dr. Kelly Posner, Director of the Columbia Lighthouse Project.

Avasure's symposium is yet another example of how so many people can connect from any location and gather, virtually, to inform, learn, participate, and inspire by way of hybrid events or meetings.

Friends,

These are strange times, and we at KBOgroup understand your worries.

In a matter of days, the rate of spread and confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has had a ripple effect in our industry around the world. It seems surreal to witness the halt of events, conferences, concerts, theatre, and life as we knew it, to mitigate the spread.

We are pleased to see some in the arts and industry able to pivot into displaying their craft with the use of technology to reach remote audiences.

We will survive. We care about YOU and encourage you to stay safe and healthy. One way of staying healthy is to keep engaged, laughing (thanks to our friends at LaughFest!), and listening.

The show will go on!
We are honored to have played a part in bringing the Opera Grand Rapids performance of Scalia/Ginsburg into a virtual performance during these challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. The solution was expeditious: the cast rehearsed, then performed the piece, which was video-recorded by a four-camera production. The recording will be broadcast online via Livestream for a short time beginning tonight. Ticket holders received password-protected access for online screening. Virtual tickets are available for anyone, anywhere, who wants to appreciate this previously sold-out show, through the Opera Grand Rapids website.
