Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization, delivering health and hope by arranging free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. Their network of 1,400+ pilots throughout the 13 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, flight times, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations.

Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler

Location: Great Falls Jet Center, Great Falls, Montana

Base Pay: $17 - $20 staring wage (DOE) with growth potential

Employment Type: Full Time permanent position

Description: Great Falls Jet Center is hiring a full time Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler to join our team. Primary duties include fueling and moving of aircraft, plus other duties as assigned. Experience preferred, not required. We will train the right candidate!

Duties:
- Perform fueling of all types of aircraft
-Directing aircraft to proper parking area, ensuring aircraft are properly secured.
- Using hand signals with the pilot.
-Towing aircraft to and from secure tie-down areas or hangars. Moving aircraft into and out of hangars.
- Ability to drive heavy equipment such as fuel trucks, snow plows and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Greet crew members and passengers and assist as needed.
- Possess basic computer skills
- Willing to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed in all-weather environments.
- Perform daily fuel truck inspections including performing preloading and quality control inspections.
- Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections. Ensure vehicles are in safe operating order and running properly.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, local and company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aviation experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Able to obtain a Great Falls Airport Security ID, which requires an FBI finger print background check.

Candidate must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Customer service experience a plus.

Clear and legible handwriting.

Must be able to perform simple math functions.

Positive team player.

Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated leadership qualities.

Strong emphasis on safety.
