Today, we honor and remember our wonderful truck driver Kim Deyton.
He was a dedicated truck driver whose life was defined by hard work, love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to his family.
For countless miles and countless hours, he traveled the highways and back roads, helping keep the world moving. Being a truck driver was more than a job to him; it was a commitment. Through long days, late nights, and time spent away from home, he carried the responsibility of providing for those he loved with pride and determination. His work ethic was unmatched, and his reliability earned the respect of everyone who knew him.
But beyond the road, his greatest journey was the one he shared with his family.
For 37 wonderful years, he was a devoted husband to the love of his life Wanda. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, strength, and countless memories. Their marriage was a testament to loyalty, partnership, and enduring love.
He was a proud father to his daughter Kayla, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. His love for her was unconditional, and he took great pride in the woman she became. He welcomed his son-in-law Scotty not only into the family but into his heart, cherishing him as a son and sharing a bond built on love, respect, and friendship.
Nothing made his eyes light up quite like his granddaughter Olivia. She was one of his greatest blessings, and the love he had for her knew no bounds. The memories they shared will forever be treasured, and the lessons he taught through his kindness, strength, and example will remain with her throughout her life.
He leaves behind a legacy far greater than the miles he traveled. He leaves a legacy of love, integrity, dedication, and family. Though his seat may now be empty and the roads quieter without him, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was a great truck driver, but even more importantly, he was a great friend. His new passion was ridding his SXS and trying to make it the fastest, baddest machine around and couldn't stand it when his boss man passed him up π€£
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried with us on life's journey.
Rest easy our friend and driver. Your road may have ended here, but your legacy will travel on forever.
