Help your community have a safe and healthy winter!
The Centers for Disease Control recommend everyone over 6 months old get up-to-date with the newest COVID shot, now available at pharmacies and public clinics throughout our region. This is also the time to get this year's flu vaccine! Visit this page over the coming weeks to register for clinics for both kinds of vaccine organized by local health departments (yes, you can get both shots at once):

Important traffic update!

Traffic Alert!

The on-ramp to Route 91 southbound at the rotary has been closed by the State DPW. We anticipate this opening no earlier than Tuesday.

Reminder, we have two large events (Wormtown and Good Sam) in town that will be leaving tomorrow, as well as the Memorial Day Parade. We expect lengthy delays all Memorial Day near the rotary, please make plans accordingly.

Over 200 people from college, university, local & state emergency management and law enforcement, along with higher ed administration & media relations to learn about managing large scale, potentially controversial events or speakers from University of Florida, Gainesville EMD, police, student affairs & Florida Highway Patrol today on UMass Amherst campus.
