The Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) was established in 1978 with the provisions of Chapter 161B and is a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Though not the biggest transit authority in Massachusetts, the FRTA covers the largest (1121.08 square miles) and the most rural geographical area of any of the 15 regional transit authorities in the State. y serves 41 communities throughout Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden and Worcester Counties spanning from southern borders of Vermont and New Hampshire down to the northern border of Connecticut.

The Link 413 and Route 41 are still operating but may experience a few delays due to the detour. Please be patient.

Join us today for 2 public outreach sessions on the continuaion of weekend service.

Your input is valued and needed. the first session is from 1:00pm - 2:15pm and the second is from 5:00 - 6:15pm. Both are being held in person at the JWO Transit Center, 12 Olive St., Greenfield in the Allen meeting room, first floor.

***Attention passengers***

Please prepare for a detour on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 on Route 32.
We will not be servicing the Deerfield Street bus stop due to construction on Cheapside Street. The closest bus stop will be a temporary stop at the bottom of Mountain Road both inbound and outbound. The stop will be marked with yard signs. Any questions please call dispatch at 413-341-1727.
