It's Future Leaders Day at INDOT East Central πŸ‘ͺπŸ‘·

Each year, we invite our team to bring their kids to work for a morning of learning and fun.

Kids were able to learn about what their parents do each day at INDOT, taking part in anything from fire and utility safety briefings, helping us paint a plow, trying out the snow plow simulator, and even taking a tour of our fleet of vehicles.

It's important for us to take some time and invest in the next generation of leaders!

Yesterday, two sinkholes were discovered and quickly addressed by our INDOT construction and maintenance crews.

The first sinkhole on State Road 32 near Union Street in downtown Westfield was safely covered by a steel plate until a long-term repair can be made.

Last night, a second sinkhole was discovered on S.R. 32 between Spring Mill Road and Ditch Road, caused by a water main leak. Our maintenance team worked through the night to excavate the hole, fill it with stone, and pave over it.

State Road 32 is back open at both locations. If you see something in the road that shouldn't be there (or if you notice the city of Westfield sinking), contact our customer service team 24/7 at INDOT4U.com or by calling 855-463-6848.
