Meeting once a month, the group includes both young and old pilots as well as men and women. Greenville Regional Airport has one paved 4000’ runway (18-36) along with a 2800’ grass strip (9-27). Variable Intensity Runway Edge Lighting on 18-36 (Pilot Controlled). Instrument Approaches using GPS or VOR. Unicom 123.05 with AWOS (3-clicks). Self-service Jet A and 100LL. Products:
Information - If we don’t know, we’ll make something up. Fun - If nothing exciting is going on, we’ll do something to make it exciting real quick. Events - Yep, we’re always doing something. Pilots - Being a pilot doesn’t make you cool, but if you’re cool, you’re probably a pilot. Planes - Yeh, we have plenty of those too. And if you know how many planes you have, then you don’t have enough.

Its that time of year again. Welcome Spring and beautiful flying weather. The Greenville Pilots EAA Chapter 1382 are hosting our Young Eagles Day on May 30 2026 (with a rain date of June 6). Sign your kids up for a free airplane flight at: https://eaachapters.org/event-details/GY2631YWG or you can use the qr code attached. Registration opens on March 30. There will be multiple Young Eagle events listed, so be sure that you pick the Greenville IL airport for our event if thats the airport you want to attend. Email updates will be sent out for those who sign up for any changes. We've been working with a local STEM class to educate kids about aviation and now they have a chance to get in the air and see what its like. We will also be having airport tours that day.
