Sorry for the long rant. I do not get on here and complain much, but I did not appreciate hearing about a ex-customer talking bad about my shop. My shop has a good reputation and a great customer base. We have customers who drive from Jefferson Georgia and North Carolina to this little shop in Greenville not just passing by and needing repair but to come here for our work and pass alot of shops just to get here. To me that speaks volumes about how we do business here, and our quality of work . We bend over backwards to help our customers the absolute best we can, and sometimes things are uncontrollable. With that said we are in business to provide a quality service to our customers HOWEVER I DO NOT WORK FOR FREE, INSTALL PARTS WE PAY FOR TO INSTALL ON YOUR TRUCK THAT BELONGS TO YOU WITH OUT BEING PAID FOR THE PARTS AND LABOR , MY EMPLOYEES DO NOT WORK FOR FREE, SHOP TOOLS, MY RENT, POWER, WATER AND INSURANCE ARE NOT FOR FREE. I am sure that the customer I am talking about does not haul freight for free, cause if they did they would not be in business long. We try to save the customers money ,time and from the dreaded down time as best as we can with quality parts, labor, and repair practices , but when the customer does not want to comply with that and does not want to do what is recommended because he is cheap, don't have the money or whatever the excuse is that is out our hands at that time. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LACK OF MAINTENANCE, ABUSE, YOUR STUPIDITY, OR WEAR AND TEAR OF YOUR NOT OURS BUT YOUR VEHICLE. But when you come in my shop and ask us to do something and we provide our services like you asked , and even let the customer leave with his truck with out paying out of the kindness of my heart " I will pay you next week ,I don't have it right now " (knowing we will not get paid ) Than go around and bad mouth us that is not right. There is BAD businesses out there I am sure, but there is REALLY BAD CUSTOMERS OUT THERE TO. We know we can not make every customer happy unfortunately, but there is to many variables that are in place parts, time frame, parts pricing, ect. When you purchase a vehicle and use it for business you have to maintain and repair your vehicle to keep your business going, well I have a overhead to and doing free labor and putting free parts on YOUR VEHICLE and we do not get paid is not going to keep my business up and running or allow me to pay may overhead so there for if you complain and tell me that you can't pay more than what this part cost and labor to put it on how do you expect me to put on another part on at the same time (when at the time there was nothing wrong with it) and stand around and complain that we did not change it? I promise we have great customers now and and we are growing with new customers that appreciate what we provide for them, and does not expect to be provided with a service with out paying for it. And i hope for your sake ex-customer you are provided with free parts and repair at your new repair facility like you want. lets see how long that shop can stay in business. rant over
