The Willow OS Communications Agent is built! 📱🌿

After customers complete their first ride with Palmetto State Rides, they’ll be able to book their next ride directly through text messaging.

They can simply text:

“Book a ride”
or
“I need a ride”

Willow will then collect the:

📅 Ride date
📍 Pickup address
⏰ Pickup time
🏁 Drop-off address

Once a driver accepts the ride, Willow will send the customer a secure payment link—all through the same text conversation.

No starting over. No complicated booking process. Just text Willow whenever you need another ride.

This is more than automated messaging. It’s an AI-powered booking experience built into Willow OS.

Palmetto State Rides is being built to give the Upstate a better way to plan private local rides, wine trips, scenic rides, airport transportation, and custom experiences.
This is not rideshare.
We are focused on scheduled rides, local drivers, and trips that feel more personal than just getting from point A to point B.
One of the biggest parts of Palmetto State Rides will be our custom Upstate experiences. You’ll be able to build trips around wine stops, scenic views, restaurant add-ons, coffee stops, date days, small group outings, airport rides, and local transportation needs.
The goal is simple: plan ahead, enjoy the ride, and experience the Upstate without worrying about the driving.
We’re also building local features like the Willow Upstate Challenge and future Willow Wheel spins, giving riders a fun way to explore local spots, support small businesses, and earn savings or perks after riding with PSR.

Palmetto State Rides update:

I’m moving the official launch goal to September 1.

This gives us time to finalize the correct insurance, compliance, driver requirements, and operating structure before activating rides.

PSR is being built as a professional scheduled ride service — not a rushed app. I want drivers, customers, and partners protected from day one.

In the meantime, I’ll continue building Willow, driver onboarding, airport rides, tours, hotel partnerships, Clemson/Furman event options, and the Willow Challenge.

The goal is still the same: build something local, professional, reliable, and different.

Here’s how it works:

- The more you ride with PSR, the more you unlock
- At ride milestones, customers get to choose monthly promo codes from approved local business partners

Things come in threes.

There are three moments in my life that helped shape why I’m building what I’m building now.

First, when I was in my mid-20s, my girlfriend at the time lost her dad to throat cancer. He used to tell me a quote from Zig Ziglar all the time: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.” That always stayed with me.

Second, my goddaughter was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was five years old. We stayed at Ronald McDonald House for 32 months. That experience changed me. It made me appreciate the little things in life and made me promise myself that one day, when I was in a position to give back, I would. CANCER FREE 10 YEARS NOW!

Third, there was the night that changed everything for me in rideshare. I picked up a couple who kept asking how much money I had made that night. When I dropped them off, they asked me to drive them another mile and a half down the road. I refused. Then the woman noticed the camera and asked if it was recording. It was. They got out. The next day, I found a knife left in the seat behind me.

As a husband and a father, that was the moment I realized I needed an exit strategy from rideshare.

Here we are nine months later.

Sometimes life gives you signs. Sometimes it gives you lessons. And sometimes it gives you a push.

For me, those three moments helped shape the mission I’m on now: build something better, build something safer, and build something that gives back.

That’s a big part of why I’m creating Palmetto State Rides the way I am — community first, relationships first, and giving back always.

Sometimes things really do come in threes.
