Call-A-Ride of Greenwich was proud to participate in honoring our fallen heroes today at the Greenwich Memorial Day Parade. Thanks to everyone who gave us a shout and a wave as we drove by. May God bless the souls of those who served our country and defended our rights. Happy Memorial Day from all of us at Call-A-Ride! Town of Greenwich

Greenwich Rotary was delighted to welcome Diane Brown, President of Call-A-Ride, to this week’s luncheon.

Call-A-Ride of Greenwich has been serving Greenwich seniors since 1975 — celebrating an incredible 50 years of service this year! Their mission is simple and powerful: providing free transportation for Greenwich residents age 60+, helping seniors get to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, church, senior residences, town resources, and more.

Each year, Call-A-Ride of Greenwich provides approximately 8,000 rides, powered by a dedicated team of volunteer dispatchers and drivers. What a wonderful example of neighbors helping neighbors.

Greenwich Rotary was proud to support this important work with a $500 donation to Call-A-Ride of Greenwich.

Thank you to Diane Brown and the entire Call-A-Ride team for keeping our seniors and people in need connected, independent, and moving.

Service Above Self.

Please consider donating to this wonderful organization, which quietly helps so many people in our community every day.

Call-A-Ride, founded in 1975 at First Presbyterian Church, provides free transportation for ambulatory Greenwich residents aged 60 and older. Initially starting with one vehicle and $6,000 in funding, the nonprofit continues to assist seniors in reaching medical appointments, grocery stores, and other local destinations. The organization relies on donations and volunteer drivers to maintain its services.
