When it comes to dog point set screws, the difference between a half dog point and a full dog point comes down to the length of the cylindrical nose. 🔩

🐾 Half dog point: Features a shorter cylindrical tip
🐾 Full dog point: Uses a longer cylindrical tip based on the standard and size of the screw

For example, many M8 dog point set screws are considered half dog at lengths of 10 mm or less and full dog above 10 mm.
