One of the most meaningful experiences my husband and I had in Italy was cooking an entire meal alongside our hosts in their home. We learned techniques and recipes passed down through generations, enjoyed wonderful conversation, and then sat down together to enjoy the meal we had created.

It was so much more than a cooking lesson—it was a genuine glimpse into everyday Italian life, culture, family traditions, and the pride that goes into local ingredients.

Imagine learning to make fresh pasta from scratch, preparing regional specialties, tasting local olive oil or w**e, and sharing a meal around the table in a beautiful destination. In the storybook Bavarian village of Oberammergau, local residents have performed the world-renowned Passion Play for nearly 400 years. This powerful cultural and spiritual experience takes place only once every 10 years—meaning the next opportunity after 2030 will not be until 2040.
