This boat had a strong fuel smell. At first glance, there wasn't an obvious puddle underneath the engine.
But a closer inspection revealed fuel accumulating inside the engine and running down areas most owners never see.

That small stream of water coming from your outboard is one of the easiest ways to monitor the health of your cooling system.

⚓️ Boat been sitting for a while?

One of the first things we check is the condition of the fuel.

Old gasoline can break down over time, absorb moisture, leave deposits in the fuel system, and cause hard starting, poor performance, or no-start conditions.

In this case, we removed the old fuel before moving forward with service.

Sometimes the best repair starts with removing the problem before it reaches the engine.

Helpful Tip:
If your boat has been sitting for several months (or longer) don't assume the fuel is still good. A quick inspection can save thousands in repairs.
