Todays packaging challenge. Large antique painting with a very ornate frame. We prepared it to be safely moved by the owner and will not actually be shipped.
Step 1: Glassine Paper over the print, this paper is acid free archival paper that ensures no damage to the paint.
Step 2: Bubble to fill the void and create even pressure when wrapping.
Step 3: Complete foam protection around the entire frame.
Step 4: Honeycomb board over the face and to protect the head.
Step 5: Egg crate foam for additional protection on the protruding parts of the frame.
Lastly placed into 2 heavy duty picture frame boxes telescoped together to accomodate the larger size.
