A little behind-the-scenes action at EGE! 🎥✈️

Yesterday, we filmed a segment for PBS, showcasing how regional airports, like ours here in Eagle County, help to support the local economy—connecting visitors, businesses, and our community.

From the terminal to the airfield, it was a great opportunity to share EGE’s story. Keep an eye out for the finished segment!

🦖 A prehistoric visitor has arrived at EGE! 🦖

EGE is excited to welcome a new exhibit to the terminal!

Located just outside the TSA exit lane in the pre-security area, you’ll now find a Stegosaurus skull brought to us by Billy Duran and Jarrett Osborn from The Museum at Dinosaur Junction

This isn’t just any dinosaur—it’s the Colorado State Fossil, and fossils of Stegosaurus have been found right here in Eagle County! This incredible dinosaur roamed the area approximately 150 MILLION years ago during the Late Jurassic Period.

The exhibit also features a larger replica of the iconic black stone plates that make the Stegosaurus so recognizable. And to make this display even more unique, the skull is mounted on a piece of 90-million-year-old petrified wood from Cretaceous Period ocean layers—also discovered right here in Eagle County!

Talk about a piece of local history! 🦕🏔️

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from EGE! 🐾

Our employees have some pretty important coworkers… and they have four legs, wagging tails, and a serious talent for brightening up the workplace. ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating the EGE Dog Crew — the pups who stop by the airport to supervise, greet employees, and make everyone’s day a little better.

Today, we're celebrating the incredible people who keep Eagle County Regional Airport running every day. From airline staff, TSA officers, and air traffic controllers to maintenance crews, custodians, concessions employees, rental car teams, ground transportation providers, ARFF personnel, and airport operations staff—each plays a vital role in connecting our community to the world.

Whether you're helping travelers find their gate, clearing snow before sunrise, maintaining our facilities, or ensuring every flight operates safely, your dedication makes a difference.

Thank you to all the airport workers who keep EGE moving. We appreciate everything you do!

Inspiring the next generation of aviators right here at EGE! ✈️ 🏔️

We were thrilled to see this fantastic feature in the Vail Daily highlighting the unique aviation learning opportunities available for local students in Eagle County. Programs like Eagle Aviators give young people a hands-on look at the incredible world of aviation, from flight training to industry mechanics.

The future of aviation is bright, and we are proud to be the home base where these dreams take flight. Thank you to everyone working hard to support our local youth programs! 🙌
