Help us support a wonderful cause!!
Many of you are aware of the devastating fire which mostly destroyed the local Hagerstown Salvation Army Thrift Store.
The fire happened on March 13th on the Dual Highway. A battery caught fire in a storage room.
The store is the main source of revenue for the local Salvation Army's efforts.
Some of these include after school care, summer camps, and housing and feeding homeless families.
Last year, the local Salvation Army served more than 27-thousand meals to local people who needed it.
Last year more than 41-thousand people received assistance, because of the revenue created by the Thrift Store.
Without the store, the Salvation Army cannot take care of the homeless families who depend on its support.
The local Salvation Army is seeking help and needs emergency funding. The Grille at Runways will be holding a fundraiser to help support and to get the word out!
