Thank you to Senator Judy Ward, State Representative Scott Barger, and the PA State Police for bringing everyone together in Duncansville to help deliver an important message as students across Pennsylvania prepare to head back to school: school bus safety is everyone’s responsibility.

As school buses return to our roads, we encourage every motorist to slow down, stay alert, put the distractions away, and be prepared to stop. When you see the flashing red lights and stop arm, STOP. A few extra seconds of patience can make all the difference.

We also want to thank Fullington Bus for hosting the event and for their continued commitment to safe student transportation.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Vickie Wolf, with E & B Transportation, who passed away this past weekend.

For those of you who had the privilege of knowing Vickie, you know the warmth and kindness she brought wherever she went. She was always quick with a smile, a kind word, and a helping hand whenever someone needed it.

Please keep the Wolf family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Monaghan Presbyterian Church, 1185 Gettysburg Pike, Dillsburg PA. Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 am with the service to begin at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York Springs Fire Company. Mailed to 312 Main Street York Springs, PA 17372.

Congratulations to our PSBA contractor members who were awarded funding through PennDOT’s School Bus Safety Grant Program!

Working directly with PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll and the PennDOT team, PSBA helped establish this initiative to invest in school transportation and address the ongoing need for qualified school bus drivers.

Once the program was announced, PSBA ensured our members were among the first to know by sharing application details and providing guidance to help strengthen their submissions.

We’re proud to see so many of our members receive this funding, which will help recruit and train new school bus drivers and keep Pennsylvania students safe.

Congratulations to all of the recipients, and thank you to Secretary Mike Carroll, PennDOT, and the Shapiro Administration for partnering with PSBA to make this investment in school transportation possible.

One of the most meaningful traditions of the PSBA Annual Convention is the election of the Association’s leadership during the Annual Membership Meeting.

After two years of exceptional service, Aaron Sepkowski of Pocono Transportation officially passed the gavel and will transition to the role of Immediate Past President. We proudly welcome David Schrantz of Rohrer Bus Service as the new President of the Pennsylvania School Bus Association for the next two years.
