⚠️ RUNWAY CLOSURE NOTICE – NIGHT OPERATIONS ⚠️

Boone County Regional Airport (HRO)

The runway will be closed during nighttime hours for application of the final coat of paint and glass beads on all runway markings.

🛑 Closure Schedule:
• March 18: 1900 – 0600
• March 19: 2200 – 0600
• March 20: 2200 – 0600

Pilots are advised to plan accordingly and check NOTAMs prior to flight.

Special day at the airport! Andy Anderson was presented the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award for 50 years of flying. Andy has actually flown for 66 yrs paying $5 and hour for instruction when he learned to fly. Heather Metzler with the FAA LIT FSDO Safety was here to present the award. We are all so proud for Andy in getting this much deserved and prestigious award.
