Having started Precision Marine a little over 5 years ago I know first hand how difficult it is to build and maintain a business in this industry. If you have a minute please sign this petition and support a fantastic local business. Every year boat repair shops are closing and or retiring out because the industry isn’t getting enough qualified Marine technicians. Cities, counties and townships are implementing too many regulations to be sustainable.

This week we had two boats with the incorrect outdrives on them, one v8 powered boat had a drive meant for a four cylinder engine and another with a counter rotating lower with a standard rotation prop. I didn’t catch either until I began to reseal them because unless the drive has severe issues like gear failure you don’t need to utilize the ratio for resealing as they use the same seals no matter the ratio. The other could not have been caught on a basic inspection because it looks the same from the outside. Eventually they both would have failed if used as they were.
