A throwback to 1992 and a big move accomplished by Gary Williams and his crew.

On May 15, 1992, after months of fundraising and planning, the barn made the epic 16-mile journey to its present location at the museum in Colby, Kansas.

The grand barn is 66 feet wide, 114 feet long, and 48 feet high with a gambrel roof. It was built at Breton, sixteen miles northeast of Colby, in 1936 by northwest Kansas men. It is 15,048 square foot in size.

It is considered one of the “8 WONDERS OF KANSAS ARCHITECTURE.”

✔️ Laborer - able to lift heavy equipment
✔️ Outdoor work all seasons
✔️ Travel - occasional overnight stays for jobs
✔️ Must have reliable transportation to get to work
✔️ No prior experience needed - onsite training
✔️ CDL not necessary
✔️ Starting at $25/hour

Today we celebrate the fathers who work hard, lead with integrity, and provide for their families. The sacrifices made, the lessons taught, and the example set each day often happen quietly behind the scenes, but their impact lasts for generations.

A special Father's Day goes to these two men who are not only father and son, but partners in building something meaningful together. Their dedication, work ethic, and commitment to both family and business have created a legacy that extends far beyond the workplace.

We are grateful for the foundation they've built, the values they lead with, and the example they set for the next generation.

To all the dads balancing work, family, responsibility, and love…thank you for all that you do.
