There's something special about seeing Minnesota come together each year at the Minnesota State Fair.

As a company that serves communities across the state, we appreciate opportunities to celebrate the traditions, people, and local pride that make Minnesota such a great place to call home.

Proud of our team at Spanier Bus Service for delivering a successful day of transportation for College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University.

Spanier operated 11 buses across four simultaneous events, including cultural tours of St. Cloud, a river rafting trip, a Minnesota Twins game outing, and a visit to the St. Cloud quarries.

Every trip ran on schedule and without incident. We received outstanding feedback from students, staff, and the transportation department, who praised the professionalism of our drivers and the seamless coordination of the day.

Opportunities like these showcase the dedication of our team and the value we bring to our communities. We're grateful for the trust and excited about future charter opportunities with both institutions.

Stuff the Bus Success!

Our team at Marschall Line Bus was proud to support the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive, organized by local American Family Insurance agent Pam McCarthy and partners. As both a donation site and bus sponsor, we helped grow the event from filling a small van last year to packing a 40-foot school bus this year! Special thanks to volunteer driver Deanne Juneski and Community Engagement Lead John Moore for helping deliver supplies to Meadowview Elementary, and families for the 2026-27 school year.

We’re welcoming Halo Transportation to the team as we expand our presence in the Twin Cities.

HALO has served Fridley, Anoka-Hennepin, Spring Lake Park and other local districts while growing to more than 70 vehicles and 80 team members over the last 17 years. The team has built strong relationships with the communities it serves, including a reputation for taking on complex routes and finding solutions for school districts.

That local expertise and dedication will remain at the center of the operation, with the HALO name, team, routes and service continuing under our ownership.

We’re looking forward to getting to know the people behind the fleet and supporting what they have built as they begin this next chapter.

We have acquired two family-owned school bus and motorcoach operators, Southwest Coaches Inc and Minnesota Motor Bus, expanding our network of transportation providers across the Upper Midwest.

Southwest Coaches has served the Marshall, Minnesota community for more than 70 years, while Minnesota Motor Bus has provided transportation in Fairmont for decades. Both companies will continue operating under their existing brand names, with local drivers, mechanics and staff remaining in place.

The acquisition builds on our commitment to investing in established transportation providers while preserving the local relationships and dependable service communities rely on. We’re honored to help owners like the Hey brothers find their path to retirement while safeguarding their legacy and supporting their teams.

For students, families and school districts, there will be no interruption to service or changes to routes.

Two outstanding Rehbein Transit teammates have been recognized by the Minnesota Association for Pupil Transportation (MAPT) for their exceptional service to students with special needs.

🏆 Jean Jensen was named Special Education Driver of the Year.
🏆 Carol Martin was named Special Education Paraprofessional of the Year.

Together, they made history as the first teammates from the same company to receive the honors in the same year.

Some leaders build businesses. Others build people, communities and lasting legacies.

The National School Transportation Association (NSTA) has recognized our own Pat Regan with its Hall of Fame award, honoring decades of leadership, service and commitment to student safety.

Throughout his career, Pat has embodied the spirit of student transportation, leading with humility, service and an unwavering commitment to safety. Whether it was helping grow Minnesota Coaches into one of the region’s leading transportation providers, driving school bus routes himself during the COVID-19 driver shortage or personally organizing transportation to help Louisiana students return to school after a devastating hurricane, Pat has never hesitated to step up when people needed him most.

His legacy is measured in more than just years of service. It’s measured in the students safely transported, the communities supported and the countless transportation professionals he has mentored along the way.
