It is with heavy hearts that we remember our longtime friend and buyer, Hollan Wilson.
For more than 50 years, Hollan was a part of the cattle business, and for many of those years, he was a familiar face here at Pulaski County Stockyard. Hollan was more than a buyer—he was a friend to so many in our cattle community. His presence, friendship, and dedication to this industry will be greatly missed.
Hollan lived a life of service, whether it was serving the people of Pineview, supporting his fellow cattlemen, or simply being a good friend to those around him. The relationships he built over a lifetime in the cattle business are a testament to the kind of man he was.
While we are saddened by his passing, we know Hollan is proud to be reunited with his beloved wife, Bobbie Nell. We hope there is comfort in knowing that after their time apart, they are together again.
Hollan leaves behind a legacy that will continue through his family, his friends, and the cattle industry he loved so much. We are especially honored that a memorial scholarship fund is being established through Pulaski County Stockyard in his memory to help the next generation of cattlemen and women pursue their passion for agriculture. We can think of no better way to honor a man who dedicated so much of his life to this industry.
Please keep the Wilson family in your thoughts and prayers during the days ahead.
Rest easy, Hollan. Your seat at the sale may be empty, but your memory and the friendships you made along the way will remain with us for many years to come.
