Ethan Johnson of Hayward is headed to the woods! He’s been waiting patiently for a mountain bike. His new Trek Marlin 5 is his ticket to freedom and fun. We appreciate his parents, Alan and Ariana Johnson, as busy people running multiple business in Hayward like AJ construction, The Lot, Sweetgrass & Sage and Rugged Roots. Jordan Karis has her hands full with her 4 active children. Her son Guy attended the CAMBA kids program this summer and decided he is all in so he got a good bike to take it to the next level. Guy’s new Trek Marlin 5 is a great fit for the trails and bike park in Cable where they live. He is setting a great example for his sisters. What a great way to enjoy the woods, expend some youthful energy and build lifelong skills. Thank you for letting us fuel the fire. 🔥

As the mountain bike season nears the end we would like to say a special word about the special young ones we have the absolute pleasure of working with and being around. They have worked side by side with us showing ambition and respect. We watch them grow in all ways becoming leaders and mentors. We see them overcome obstacles and tackle fears. They fall. They rise. They watch, they listen, they learn. It’s a pleasure to be around youth and pass along some of the hard-fought wisdom we have gained from our own follies and successes both in our sports and personally. We cannot say enough about what this sport is doing for our youth. Huge thanks to Trek for the NiCA programs, CAMBA for our spectacular trails and our local events like the Hayward Lion’s Pre-Fat and the Chequamegon Mountain Bike Festival. All these events and organizations provide opportunities for our youth. Special shout out to our young employees Marin Patnode, Eliah Flintrop and Sam Berquist for outstanding dedication and winning seasons. Our own Olivia Swift is rocking her season showing perseverance and great sportsmanship. We are blessed to witness these outstanding kids rise. Shout out to all you beautiful kids on the mountain bike team for each of your personal successes. We are so proud to see you out there.

The family vacation was going well until a crash broke a bike! The St. Vincent family came from Foxboro Wisconsin to Hayward to enjoy outdoor recreation. A broken bike led to a nice upgrade for this young man into a Trek Marlin. He’s super stoked to be able to play a little harder without incident on his capable new bike. Thanks for the business. Such a pleasure.

This beautiful girl got started with the “little bellas” mountain bike class in Ashland and keeps riding. The Vanderscheuren family rides together to encourage outdoor time. It’s great to see.
