PDQ Sanitation Service merged with Waste Away Systems in December 2018 and the past 6 months have been nothing short of fantastic . Waste Away Systems has made many improvements to make PDQ Sanitation Service a better and safer company, including improving equipment, adding insurance, implementing a competitive 401K package as well as a profit sharing program. Waste Away Systems has made every employee at PDQ feel like part of the family. Our office is still located in The Plains, Ohio where we have been since we moved from Glouster. I assure you Waste Away Systems will strive to improve OUR community by taking care of residents and employees alike. As the owner is an Ohio University Alumni, he knows how important recycling is to our community, how important it is to keep Athens Beautiful. We will do whatever it takes to work with Athens Hocking Recycling Center now and into the future to accomplish this goal, as two teams working together are better than one. Due to slick road conditions and cold temperatures we were unable to collect everyone today we will be back through hopefully tomorrow as the road conditions improve

Reminder we are closed tomorrow. Everyone have a safe happy new year!! Tuesady Garbage collection will be Wednesday ... Wednesday on Thursday and Thursday/Friday routes will be done Friday

Today 12-26-18 we are picking up all Tuesday customers...tomorrow 12-27-18 we will pick up all Wednesday customers and on Friday the 28th we will pick up ALL Thursday and Friday customers. Also payment books will mailed out next week. Sorry for the delay

We are working on the payments for next year and will have them sent out soon. Also we will be running Monday the 24th and Monday the 31st as scheduled. We will be closed the 25th for Christmas and the 1st for New Years.

Reminder.... we will be closed this Wednesday July 4th to celebrate our nation's independence. Hope everyone has a great and safe 4th. Also due to predicted hot weather we will be starting earlier to try and beat the heat. Please set all garage out the night before scheduled pick up. Thank you!
