Cleared for the approach. ✈️

Since our runway reopened after the extension project, EHR has been without published GPS instrument approach procedures. That changed this week — new GPS approaches to Runway 9 and Runway 27 are now published and active!

Pilots, update your databases and check the latest charts before you fly.

At Henderson City-County Airport, that looks like a pilot’s walkaround on a hot summer morning. A propeller catching the light. A student pilot learning to trust the checklist. Wheels up on Runway 27.🛫

✈️ T-hangar space is available at Henderson City-County Airport (KEHR).✈️

We’ve got open T-hangar units on the field, starting at $200/month — and a lot of good news to go with them. EHR now has 7,100 feet of runway (6,500 ft landing distance on 27 with the displaced threshold), and new RNAV approaches to both 9 and 27 publish on September 3rd.
Don Davis Aviation is our full-service FBO right on the field: full-service 100LL and Jet A, aircraft maintenance, charter, flight training, and aircraft rental. We’re four miles from downtown Henderson and a short hop from Evansville.
Whether you’re thinking about moving your airplane closer to home or just tired of waiting on a list somewhere else, we’d love to talk.

Henderson City-County Airport was pleased to host EAA Chapter 21’s Breakfast Fly-In this weekend. Visitors enjoyed a delicious breakfast, great fellowship, and a beautiful morning on the ramp surrounded by aircraft from around the region.🥞☕️✈️

A big thank you to EAA Chapter 21, the staff at Don Davis Aviation, the many volunteers who made the event possible, and to everyone who flew in or stopped by to join us. We love seeing our airport bring people together and showcase the value of general aviation in our community.
