Another great road trip is complete for Big Hoss Moving! The Hosses were out in Huntersville area early Friday morning. We were moving a very nice woman to be closer to her family living in St Augustine Florida. It was all hands on deck for the load but in just over 5 hours we stuffed to the brim and headed down South! 🛻💨

After safely arriving to Florida, the crew rested for the night and were back at it starting Saturday morning. There we were greeted by members of our customers family and we got straight to work. A good 4 hours was needed to unload and then reassemble certain items. We are so appreciative of our customer as we couldn’t thank her enough for trusting us with this move. We hope the transition to FL is a smooth one! 🤝🏠

Nov 1st 2024 Big Hoss Moving was in Virginia loading up a family to bring them to Hickory. Fast forward to Nov 1st 2025 and we finished unloading an amazing couple from Hickory in Virginia! The Hosses embarked on a great 2 day adventure that started on Halloween Day 🎃 👻 at our customers storage units. There they had three 10 by 15ft storage units that we loaded up into our first truck. We were able to finish all 3 units in just over 3 hours and got on the road before noon! 💪💪

From there, we traversed a little over 2 hours through the beautiful mountains of SW VA to get to Christiansburg VA. Our customers had a townhome there and we loaded our 2nd truck with some items going to our final destination and others going back with us to storage in Hickory. After that it was on to Day 2 where we started our unload in Riner VA at 8am which would wrap up right at noon. Our customers were absolute rockstars throughout the entirety of the move and helped us out so much. We couldn’t be more appreciative of their efforts and choice to let us be the ones to conduct their move. We hope you both enjoy your beautiful new home! 🏠

It’s been about 2 months since our last post but the Hosses have been very busy we promise 😂! We wanted to recognize a great job done extremely well that we completed Friday. The move was for a family in Davidson relocating just a couple of miles down the road. Both homes were 5 bedrooms and very spacious so being cautious was at an all time high. But the our crew of Hosses handled everything like absolute pros!! 💪💪

Starting at 9:30 in the morning we were able to get the truck loaded right at 3 hours. Then another 2 and half hours to get everything unloaded as well as reassembled. Then we had to make an extra stop as the family was picking up a few pieces of furniture from a family member who also lived in the neighborhood. Overall it took right at 6 and half hours to finish one of the best jobs we’ve ever done. We are so appreciative of the opportunity we were given and we hope our customers enjoy their new beautiful home! 🏠 👍

The Hosses are still going as hard as we always do even though busy season is about over now. Haven’t posted in a little bit but that doesnt mean the Hosses haven’t been busy! 😅 We wanted to highlight our move that was done yesterday (Friday), for the office of Pain and Spine Specialists of Hickory. They needed help going from their previous location off of 127 to their new location on Tate Boulevard in Hickory. In addition of moving their main office, we had to grab pieces from 2 other locations before heading to the destination. We had our work cut out for us, so let’s see how Big Hoss Moving handled the challenge! 💪💪

Starting at 9:30, we were to move a lot of boxes, furniture, and medical equipment. Everything was packed and made pretty easy for us to grab and go. It took about 3 hours and 15 minutes to load up 5 offices and 6 exam rooms as well as their break room. Add about another hour and half for driving and grabbing the items from the 2 separate stops then it was time to unload. It took about 4 hours to complete but everything made it without a hitch. We are thankful for all the women that helped us throughout the day and helped made our jobs easier. Our crew couldn’t have done it without them. We were so appreciative of the opportunity to help y’all move offices! 🏢🩺🩻

Excited to update about our pervious jammed pack week we’ve had! Starting out last Friday, we helped a family move from an apartment to another both about a mile away from each other in SE Hickory. We had to stop at their storage unit first to grab a few pieces there. It was a pleasure and we’re eager for the opportunity to move another family member of theirs to the Wilmington area here soon! Saturday our team was in NE Hickory helping a woman move to her new apartment. Some of the larger items including a couple of very nice curios that all made it to the final destination safely! She was great to work for and we hope she enjoys her new place. Both Monday and yesterday afternoons consisted of the Big fellas helping a family in the Mooresville area fill 2 pods up with their belongings. Monday we got a majority of the upstairs, master bedroom and living room while Thursday we concluded with anything left. We’ll be excited to unload those pods in the coming weeks! 👍👍

Tuesday we started off in the Maiden area helping a family get the rest of their belongings out of their previous home. They were moving to the Brookford area of Hickory. It took us about 4 hours to complete and we had another happy family on our hands! Then early yesterday had us up in the mountains in Boone. There we were helping a student move her belongings to a nearby storage facility. Her and her mother did a great job helping us by staging and labeling everything we were moving. We got everything wrapped up in under 2 hours as we hope they had a safe drive back home to Maryland! All that and fitting in 2 estimates in the schedule sums up our week here at Big Hoss Moving!! 🤝💪

Another hot start to the week for the Hosses, knocking 2 separate in town moves🔥! The Big Guys were in full effect starting off with a smaller move on Monday in Kings Mountain. Our crew was slated to grab just the bigger furniture for our customer who was clearing out the house that was her parents. She was taking that to a storage unit also in KM, that will be held there as she prepares for a move to TN. It was a nice and easy day finishing the entire job in less than 5 hours. We appreciate our customer so much for reaching and really do we hear from her again! 🤗

Continuing through Hump Day, it was all hands on deck for a move in Denver. Our customers were moving from a 3,000 sq ft home to about a 4,000 sq ft home about a mile away. They made it nice and easy for us by staging areas and labeling where everything was to be placed. We finished the first load which consisted of all the household items just before 7 hours. Then we headed back to the origin to collect the larger pieces in the garage as well as the outdoor furniture to finish the whole job in just under 9 hours. They were so awesome from start to finish, working for them was an absolute pleasure. We hope their family enjoys their new home! 🏡 🤝👍

Can’t spell Big Hoss Moving without O-H-I-O! That’s right, we had our first ever move going to Ohio. After knocking a smaller storage unit job in the Steele Creek area Thursday, we returned again Friday to load up for our customers. They were a younger couple that was relocating to Columbus for work. Starting off in Charlotte that morning, we were able to load up everything in less than an hour as we weren’t moving too many things. Then we helped move some other items between apartments within the same building in Uptown. Around 11am we started our way up North! 🚛💨

We reached Columbus that evening and were able to rest up for the unload Saturday morning. This went even quicker as it only took 45 minutes to complete. After getting everything placed down in the right rooms, we also helped by putting things already in the house in other desired spot which including a king mattress going up a tight winding staircase. Our customer were so appreciative of our efforts and we thank them so much for the opportunity to move forward with their next chapter. It was certainly a job well done! 👍🙌

The Hosses had themselves a full day to start off the week this Monday! Our crew showed up bright and early to help a family that was moving from Taylorsville to Morganton. Both homes were about 3,000 sq ft and 2 stories so we definitely had to strap up the boots to get it done. 🥾 💪

With the sun beating down, moving each piece was its own challenge but Big Hoss Moving had on their game face. Overall it took around 11 hours including the drive there to get everything moved and set in the correct position in order of what our customers wanted. We appreciate our customers so much for being so great and patience with us. It was a job well done and we hope they have a great adjustment to their new home! 🏠 👍🤝

Shorter work week for the Big Fellas but it was still busy and hot! 🔥 We started on Monday helping an elderly woman move some Items from a home to her apartment. It was a pretty straightforward and small move highlighted by a very big and beautiful full glass curio display cabinet and was safely transported with no issues. Then Thursday we were able to help her ex husband move some items back into the house she came out of. They were both so nice and grateful of our efforts. Tuesday had us starting in the mountains in the heart of Boone. We were moving the daughter of our customer from her studio apartment back to her home in Apex NC. Another small load but we were able to execute with ease and we were very appreciative of the kind words of our clients! 🤝🤗

Wednesday had us pulling some double duty with both jobs having a 3rd floor apartments on one of the ends 😅. In the morning we were helping our customer transition from a home into an apartment in SE Hickory. The rain in the morning followed by the sun in the afternoon made for a fun day for moving. Soon after that we went to help a couple moving from apartment to apartment also within Hickory. They only needed help with the heavier items so it went by very fast. Everyone we worked for this week were so great and we wish them best making their transitions! Also we want to wish everybody a happy and safe Independence Day! 👍🎆

Wrapped up another busy and exciting week for Big Hoss Moving! Staring off Monday helping a couple move everything in their garage up in Lenoir. Their new house isn’t totally ready yet so they are moving in stages so the first step was getting the contents in the garage. We’ll be hearing from them again towards the end of July to complete the rest of the move👍! Tuesday had us in our backyard of Hickory helping a couple of sisters move items from their furnished basement into a storage unit as they prepare for an out of state move. They were very nice and we were able to beat the heat wrapping around noon. Hump day brought out to Morganton to help move a mother and daughter from an apartment into a house. Along with the grandmother they were wonderful people and it was pleasure working with them! 🤗🤝

Thursday we had lighter day as we only had an estimate in Catawba. But both Friday and Saturday had us going to the Raleigh area both from Hickory. First, we helped a young man from the Preston Ridge apartments to a storage unit back to his hometown of Fuquay-Varina. He was working but his family members were able to help show us where everything was going! Saturday started off again at Preston Ridge with a labor only job filling U-boxes for our customer as she prepared for a move out West. As one crew took care of that, we had another Hoss assist some close friends of BHM. They got loaded quickly and then we made the trek to Raleigh through the rain and all. Wrapped up that unload just before 5pm and the work week was all done! ✅

We can’t thank our customers enough for their decisions of choosing us to help them with their relocation needs. It means so much being able to help so many different families throughout our areas. The Hosses were all over the map this past week. After starting the week off in Hickory doing 2 jobs, Tuesday had us going from Newton to Summerville South Carolina. From there we were in Charlotte, Morganton, Mooresville, then finishing back in Hickory all in consecutive days. Each day was its own adventure with jobs ranging from full load/unload, labor only, and each a junk removal! 🚛💨

We’ll wrap up this weekend with a couple of estimates then have another full week starting Monday. We are so appreciative of all of our customers we’ve been able to help this week as well as all of the support from our followers. It’s because all of you Big Hoss Moving has been able to able to Save the Backs of so many families! 👍🤗🤝

The Hosses were back in action Tuesday morning ☀️🔥! Monday we knocked out a couple of smaller jobs but yesterday’s job really took the cake. We were helping out a mother move her family from Newton all the way to Summerville SC outside of Charleston. She knew she was bringing a lot of stufff so she told us just fill up the truck with as much as you can and that’ll be fine. So the dream team of Hosses got straight to business! 😤💪

It took right about 4 and half hours to load up all the upper level of the house and garage items. From there we had a 4 hour drive to get to Summerville. Then about 3 more hours to finish the unload just before the sun went down. Our customer was so appreciative and we really thank her so much for generosity and hospitality. Chalk it up as another W for the big guys in Navy! 👍🤝
