Been having some fun in the Port Royal Sound and Broad River on the Dog. Interesting how the cobia bite gets better as the Atlantic Sharpnose sharks thin out. Coincidence? Nah. Been saying it since the cobia began to decline. They don't have anything to eat, the sharpnose are Hoover vacuum cleaners in the Broad and Port Royal. We never caught sharpnose in the hayday. And we catch very few cobia on the bottom now, they are 90% caught on the surface. Wonder why?
