One train, “Screaming Eagle,” has a large bald eagle in front of an American flag. The other, “Air Force One,” features a red, white and blue pattern with gold highlights reminiscent of the presidential aircraft.

This is not good. There has been an ongoing dispute between the city and the operators of the station. Not discounting the bats in the attic, but there have been other legal issues as well per the article.
What is to become of our beloved depot?

The City of Durand says vermin contamination at Durand Union Station requires immediate cleanup and will be taking legal action. DUSI says the issue is confined to the rear attic,
