Sometimes rewiring is the wiser choice rather then trying to clean up a wiring mess from the factory. This 284 Mako initially came in to get some new screens and just a wire clean up but we ended up doing a full refit. Complete rewire, new electronics package, all new pumps and lights, and some new acrylic work to get this boat to modern standards. 2 month turn around so your boat doesn't sit in a shop for a year. Don't take your boat to a shop without knowing the quality of their work. This 31 Contender was rewired from a well known shop down here in Fort Lauderdale FL. And the worst part was it took them over a year to complete it. The customer brought me the boat straight from the shop. I stripped every wire and rewired this boat from top down. No more hanging wires and half done butt connectors. Get it done right the first time and at a fraction of the cost.
