Fleet Core You bought your trucks to make money. Not to fight brokers for decent rates. That’s our job. Message us. Let’s keep your trucks loaded.

This is why you don’t fold too fast on the phone. Broker started at $2,850, tried to meet at $2,900, and the load still booked at $3,000. Small difference, big discipline.

This one started at $2,100.
Full truckload of aluminum ingots, 43,177 lbs.
We checked the freight, countered at $2,200, and got it booked.
Simple, clean negotiation.

This load looked simple at first: Chicago to Delaware, OH.

But with a same-day pickup, 44,000 lbs of copper, fuel burn, and loading risk, $1,600 wasn’t an automatic yes.

That’s real dispatch.

Simple booking, done clean.
$1,750 for 415 loaded miles.
Food grade dry van from Evansville, IN to Lawrenceville, GA.

800+ miles with next-day delivery sounds crazy until you actually break it down like a driver.

Can he run a full shift today?
Can he finish the rest tomorrow?
Did the receiver approve the delivery?
Does the money still protect the week?

That’s the real decision.

A load is not good just because the rate looks good.
It has to fit the clock, the driver, the appointment, and the week. **er

This load was paying $3,200 for 781 loaded miles.

On paper, it looked good. But the delivery was scheduled for Friday, and that would’ve kept the truck tied up longer than needed.

So before booking it, we asked the broker to confirm if the receiver could take us tomorrow.

They checked, the receiver approved it, and only then the load actually made sense.

A good rate is not enough if the schedule hurts the truck.

THIS IS WHY YOU DON’T TRUST THE FIRST VERSION OF A LOAD.

AT FIRST, IT SOUNDED GOOD.

OLATHE, KANSAS TO HOUSTON, TEXAS.
AROUND 700 MILES.
DECENT RATE.

THEN AFTER WAITING ON HOLD…
ANOTHER STOP APPEARS.

AND THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

IN DISPATCH, THE DETAILS YOU DON’T ASK FOR
ARE USUALLY THE DETAILS THAT COST YOU.

called on a load today
tried to get 2000, ended up at 1900

simple call, no drama
just another day doing this

04/29/2026

Joplin, MO to Acworth, GA.

We asked for $2300, but the broker couldn’t get there.

He offered to match the rate from last week — $2200.

Same lane, familiar load, clean details:

Protein shakes
42,500 lbs
Dry van or re**er
Food grade trailer required
Pickup tomorrow
Delivery Thursday morning

Not every load needs to be a fight. Sometimes you know the lane, you know the broker, you know the truck, and the number makes sense.

Booked.
