SEAL Aviation has reached another major milestone! Our team has performed 30 separate Bombardier CRJ700 40K landing inspections. The 40k landing inspection requires tight coordination between the MRO and the SEAL Aviation Fuel Maintenance and Non-destructive Testing Teams. This inspection encompasses eddy current, ultrasound and Phased Array NDT disciplines. SEAL Aviation combined services has the ability to perform all the required NDT inspections, has the manpower, and possesses the specialized equipment required to perform these inspections. Additionally, SEAL Aviation operates as a mobile company which allows us to assist with this inspection quickly, at any location in the world!

Corrosion identified while performing a radiographic inspection on Hawker 800 engine cowlings. These x-rays were shot in our full service Non-Destructive Testing Lab located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Next, the SEAL Aviation Structural Repair Team will remove the corrosion and perform any necessary repairs. This is one example of how SEAL Aviation Combined Services work together to ensure timely aircraft repairs for our customers which can reduce downtime.

Close up shots of corrosion identified around fasteners on a Challenger main entry door. The MED for CL-600-2B16 has the potential for corrosion due to deteriorating epoxy. Challenger SB 604-52-007 states that "It was determined that the epoxy ramp installed to prevent water accumulation could deteriorate with time and retain moisture." This Service Bulletin requires removal of the epoxy ramp and additional draining holes to be installed to allow access for scheduled inspections. SEAL Aviation has the ability to come to your location to repair any corrosion and perform this modification.

Installing a lower wing skin on a Metro SA227-AC. The corrosion damage on the wing was so severe that the existing lower wing skin had to be replaced but a new skin was not available for purchase. SEAL Aviation Combined Services coordinated to fabricate the new wing skin while repairing corrosion and fuel leaks at the same time to meet a tight timeline for our customer. This is just one example of how the SEAL Aviation "one stop shop" concept can work to save our customers downtime and cost.

While performing Airworthiness Directive 2021-23-08 and Service Bulletin 45-57-13-1 Center Wing Inspection for Lear 45, SEAL Aviation identified corrosion on the center wing splice plate. The SEAL Aviation Structural Repair Team performed this repair in coordination with Bombardier engineering on a tight timeline to meet the needs of our customer.
