Platform Honolulu PLATFORM is your monthly chance to "connect, collaborate, create" with our vibrant creative community. We are stoked and hope you are too, see you there!

We think everyone deserves a platform to share, express or show their projects to a community of like minded people and this is your opportunity! Our goal is to bring together all the different groups and individuals that make up the unique creative community of Hawaii under one roof, where there will be opportunities to get involved in amazing projects or finding the missing link in yours. This a

space for up and coming talent to showcase their work, craft or skill, and by doing so we hope to be a local talent pool for businesses, entrepreneurs or creative projects to find those individuals that they need in their team. Scheduled to start at 9:00 pm on every Last Friday at Nextdoor on 43 N Hotel Street in Chinatown, we hope for Platform to be a place for the conversations and energy coming out of Art After Dark to continue throughout the night. (We are working on ways to facilitate transportation for those who attend Art After Dark to be able to attend Platform in an efficient way.) Tentative Schedule:
Doors Open at 9 pm
9:00pm - 10:00pm : Mingle Over Drinks and Music
10:00 pm - 10:45 pm : Patform Featured Guests
10:45 pm - 11:00 pm : Open Mic
11:00 pm - 1:00 am : Featured DJ

Platform is not going anywhere! We are taking a break, however, until 2018 to work out the logistics and design a Platform experience that matches what we envision. Until then continue to support our local artists at The ARTS at Marks Garage at First Friday Chinatown and as always get in touch with us if you'd like to get involved in growing the Oahu creative scene!

It’s been a crazy ride and a lot of positive changes happened this month. Tomorrow will be our Platform HNL No. 4, at from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm, with ending the night with an after party. We have new sponsors, new teammates and an increasing network. We hope to be able to find our own space by the next event and deliver the experience we’ve envisioned from the beginning. Tomorrow we have 10+ artists, completely new mediums and formats, and as promised, personal projectors (already taken). Stay tuned for info.

We really want to push the idea of giving people the ability to share their work, regardless of format or medium. Now, any creation can be showcased live by using ! Tag your creation and watch it be displayed among a growing collection of your submissions! We have some really innovative ideas for those who's entire work has been published strictly through social media. The suggested donations will go towards making these ideas a reality!
