The Airport Manager serves as the Department Head of the Hot Springs Municipal Airport and is responsible for the day-to-day business and long-term visioning of the Hot Springs Municipal Airport. The Airport Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the airport facility is maintained in accordance with Federal Aviation and South Dakota Department of Transportation Regulations for the safe arrival and departure of general aviation aircraft. Additional requirements of the position include: protecting city assets, providing aviators and the general public with information, documenting and informing appropriate authorities of safety hazards, maintaining records of operations, and leading in executing the Airport Master Plan. The Airport Manager also works with the City Administration and the Airport Engineering Consultants to ensure the planning and operation of the Airport meets all State and Federal rules and guidelines.
STARTING WAGE: DOEQ-$19.20-24.00/hr. TOS
