This is the number one mistake people make with Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney World.

Most people know you can pre-select 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass rides in advance: One Tier 1 ride and two Tier 2 rides.

Here’s what they don’t realize:

You can book more rides once you’re in the parks and scan into your first Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

✅Scan into a LL, book another one, repeat.

✅Book one at a time, all day, until availability runs out.

✅You can only use Lightning Lanes once per ride, per person in a day.

What Multi Pass tips would you tell someone before their first trip?

You need to know this before you visit Disneyland Resort in California!

If you have Park Hopper tickets, a major change took effect on June 9, 2026:

✨ Park hopping is now allowed all day.
No more waiting until 11 AM — Park Hopper and Magic Key guests can hop whenever they want.

You still must make a theme park reservation and choose a starting park in advance.

Here’s the part most guests don’t know ⬇️

According to recent Cast Member guidance, you no longer have to scan into your first park before hopping on most days.

🚨 Exception: On the busiest days, Disneyland may require guests to scan into their reserved starting park before hopping. This is capacity‑related and not the everyday rule.

So if you reserved Disneyland Park but decide you want to start at Disney California Adventure instead, you can hop straight there - unless it’s one of those peak‑capacity days.

Hopping is always subject to capacity limitations.

Mexico is the best pavilion in EPCOT! Convince me I’m wrong! 😉

It’s a great day when I can grab a margarita & guac from Choza and hop a boat on Gran Fiesta Tour!

What pavilion is your favorite?

It’s almost impossible to grab all three Tier 1 Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) rides at EPCOT in one day - unless you use a burner.

EPCOT Tier 1 LLMP: Test Track, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After.

What’s a burner?

A low‑demand attraction you book within 5-10 minutes of park opening just to unlock the tier system. It’s something you normally wouldn’t use LLMP for, but it gives you an early return window so you can scan in fast.

Once you scan into your first LLMP of the day, tiers disappear and you can book anything - including the remaining Tier 1s.

Why use a burner?

Because Tier 1 Lightning Lanes are usually gone within 30 minutes of park open at EPCOT. Burning one early lets you grab all three before they disappear.

Here’s the thing, you will likely not be able to book a popular Tier 2 ride or a Tier 1 ride within 5 minutes of park open. Hence, the burner attraction.

My EPCOT strategy (assuming park opening is 9am):

LLMP Pre‑Selections:

• Burner: Pixar Short Film Festival @ 9:05am
• Tier 2: Soarin’
• Tier 1: Test Track

In the park:

• Scan into burner at 9:00am
• Book Frozen immediately
• Modify Soarin’ → Remy’s
• You are still holding Test Track

By 9:05am, you’re holding all three Tier 1s.

BoardWalk Inn looks dreamy in photos, but before you book, here’s my honest take on what it’s really like to stay there.

If you want charm + walkability, BoardWalk Inn delivers. But, like any Disney resort, it may not be the right fit for every family.

Here’s the scoop:

✅ Pros

• Walk to EPCOT in about 5 minutes - the #1 reason guests choose this resort.
• Easy access to Hollywood Studios with a 10–15 minute walk, boat ride, or Skyliner.
• Charming atmosphere - Crescent Lake, performers, lights, and that nostalgic seaside charm.
• Several table service dining options + entertainment nearby at Disney’s BoardWalk.
• Deluxe perks like Extended Evening Hours.

🚨 Cons

• Rooms are refreshed, but still feel dated compared to other Deluxe resorts.
• Noise at night if your room faces the BoardWalk.
• Limited quick service - you’ll need to walk outside to BoardWalk Deli.
• Not ideal for Magic Kingdom–heavy trips due to location and transportation time.

✨ Bottom line:

Perfect for EPCOT lovers and anyone who wants charm + walkability. Not ideal if you prefer modern rooms, quiet nights, or if your trip revolves around Magic Kingdom.

These 5 splurges are worth it at Disney World:

1. Deluxe Resorts
2. Lightning Lanes
3. Memory Maker
4. Character Meals
5. Fireworks Cruise

Don’t come at me. I’m not saying you have to splurge on these all at once or every time. I’m not even saying you have to have these to have a good time.

However, if you want an elevated experience or the convenience or if it’s a once in a lifetime trip, these are definitely worth it in my opinion.

💬 Which splurge would you add to this list that’s worth it?

This resort gets an unfair bad rap, but here’s why I love staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort:

✅ 10‑minute walk to Magic Kingdom + a dedicated resort‑guest security checkpoint.

✅ Quick monorail access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

✅ Large rooms, many with a daybed = perfect for families who need that extra fifth sleeper.

✅ Contempo Café has solid quick‑service all day.

✅ Main Tower > Garden Wing - If you want an elevated feel and don’t want to have to walk outside in the elements to access dining + shopping, I highly recommend booking Main Tower.

✅ Steakhouse 71 + Chef Mickey’s are two great on‑site table service dining options.

✅ Contemporary Grounds opens at 5:30 AM - perfect for early risers heading to Early Entry that need their coffee fix. Plus, I can get Mickey art on my latte!

While the theming and look of the building is not necessarily my favorite, there are so many better reasons to love Contemporary!

💬 Have you ever stayed here - what did you think?

Stop wasting your Magic Kingdom mornings!

Not having a solid morning strategy will cost you time, money, and frustration…

Follow this plan - not the crowd. ⬇️

✅This strategy is meant to be used together with Lightning Lane Multi Pass & Single Pass to get the most out of your day.

1️⃣ Arrive Early
Get to the gates 20 minutes before Early Entry (for Disney hotel guests). Clear security, tap in, and follow the Early Entry signs for resort guests.

2️⃣ Early Entry=Tomorrowland + Fantasyland Only

Choose ONE quick win:

• Winnie the Pooh or Peter Pan
• Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear

3️⃣ ❌Skip Seven Dwarfs Mine Train❌
Everyone rushes there. It hits 45–60 minutes instantly, even during Early Entry. Just buy a Lightning Lane for MT in advance (and go ahead & grab one for TRON while you’re at it).

4️⃣ Rope Drop Frontierland
Adventureland + Frontierland + Liberty Square stay closed until official park opening.

After 1–2 Early Entry rides, head to the rope for that area.

When it drops, go straight to:

• Big Thunder Mountain
• Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

5️⃣ Then you can hit Pirates of the Caribbean & Haunted Mansion. Rope drop crowds will be filling up Fantasyland & Tomorrowland until mid-morning.

We’ve done all 4 princess dining experiences across Disney World & Disneyland.

I’m ranking them, starting with my least favorite.

This may get controversial. 🫣

Which princess dining experience is your favorite?
