🇨🇦🚢 St. John's, Newfoundland. Such a beautiful city rich with history and steeped in tradition. The comfortable summer days are mirrored by the harsh winter conditions. This city and the whole of Newfoundland are worth a visit. Don't forget to get "screeched in" at one of the many pubs.

🇨🇦🌲🍁 Yesterday we were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful Saguenay Fjord National Park. The weather was a bit cool and damp, but we made the most of it. The forest was lush and green with many varieties of trees and plants. While we did not see any wildlife, our guide assured us there are black bear and moose in the area.

🐾The day we have long been dreading has come. We said goodbye to our beloved Beamer on August 13. He was 17 years 3 months old when he crossed the bridge. He came to us from a neighbor when he was 2 1/2. Beamer was one of the best parts of our lives and it is hard to remember a time without him. One of his favorite things was to stick his head out the car window at stop lights and make people wave and smile. We called it "spreading joy."

He put up with us for a long time and we thank him for his patience and his unconditional love. While he was small in stature, he occupis a huge part of our hearts. Our house is empty and quiet without him here. He will be missed but not forgotten 💔 😢 Keep spreading joy little buddy.
