Stop hiring dispatchers based on vibes… ask the right questions. 🚛💰
Too many owner-operators get locked into bad situations because they never did their due diligence.
A real dispatcher should be able to show you strategy, not just talk.
If they can’t answer these questions with confidence… 🚩 that’s your sign.

Move like a CEO, not just a driver. How do you determine if a load is profitable for me?”

What load boards and tools do you use daily?”
How do you negotiate rates with brokers?”
👉 You want someone who’s not scared to ask: “What’s the best you can do?”
How many trucks are you currently managing?”
👉 Remember — one dispatcher should handle about 5 trucks effectively.
How do you handle communication and updates throughout the day?”
👉 Communication is EVERYTHING in dispatching.
