In the Fall of 2016 WRM purchased Southwaste Disposal, LLC. Teaming up with its sister companies Kappa Products Corporation(Chicago) and Silver City Processing(Vegas), allows WRM the ability to expand its services to even more customers. Additionally, WRM also has a strong network of vetted subcontractors that help us have a nationwide presence. We specialize in removing, transporting, recycling a

nd disposing of grease trap waste water. WRM is a holding company that is comprised of several liquid waste collection, processing and disposal sites from Nevada to Florida. WRM provides a comprehensive solution for liquid waste generators and transportation clients.

WRM Acquires a Majority of Darling Ingredients’ Trap Grease Business

Houston, Texas, - Waste Resource Management, LLC (“WRM”), a leading provider of non-hazardous liquid waste collection and processing services, has entered into a definitive agreement with Darling Ingredients Inc. to acquire the majority of Darling Ingredients’ trap grease collection and processing assets. Upon closing, this transaction will represent a significant step forward for WRM and further strengthen the company’s position across high-growth MSAs in the U.S.

Ryan Wurgler, CEO of WRM, said “We are particularly enthusiastic about the strong strategic fit with WRM. This acquisition expands our footprint in 13 U.S. metro markets, creating numerous new opportunities for organic and inorganic growth. This acquisition will also enhance our service capabilities for both existing and new clients, while driving further vertical integration across the WRM platform. We are grateful to the Darling Ingredients and WRM teams for their collaboration, focus, and dedication throughout this process. Today, as Waste Resource Management joins billions around the world in celebrating Earth Day, we’re taking a moment to reflect on its impact. First observed on April 22, 1970, Earth Day marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement in the United States—and the momentum to protect clean air, water, wildlife, and our natural resources has only grown since.

At Waste Resource Management, we’re proud to play a role in building a healthier planet for future generations. Last year, our family of companies, recycled and treated more than 275,000,000 gallons of contaminated water.
