TRUE! Back in 1953, right after graduating high school, a young Elvis was making $1.00 an hour driving a delivery truck for Crown Electric in Memphis. When he auditioned for a local band, he was famously told, “You’re no singer. You better stick to driving trucks.” Good thing he didn’t listen to the haters! It just goes to show, some of the hardest workers on the road are destined for greatness. Other famous former truckers include Sean Connery, Liam Neeson, and Chevy Chase!
