A bit behind on our Thrift Bus Adventures trip recaps! Here’s a recap of yesterday’s trip 🚐🛍️💕
Once again we were blessed with a great group of ladies to spend the day with us out hunting for “treasures” & fun! It was even a SURPRISE birthday gift for one of our riders- who had no idea that her mom had bought tickets & invited 2 others to join them, until they got to our event space! ❤️ After our usual lite breakfast setup of pastries, fruit, mimosas, etc., we boarded the bus & were northbound. First stop - Sarah Katherine’s Continuous Collections, which sadly is in the last days of being open. Much of the store is 75% off! MANY treasures were found by all onboard the bus. Next stop, Jade's Events & Design Co &The Joyful Bites Bakery in Kinsman. Such a lovely space with a variety of vendors. We were treated to delicious cookies & vintage cookie cutters. THANK YOU! 🍪 …off to Andover with multiple stores to shop at - CommUnity Thrift of Andover (we received 25% off!), The Galleria of Andover, Resemble 29 -FULL of fantastic Fall decor & cuteness! & Nan's Antiques- who recently added even more space to hold their large collection of antiques. (Our riders received 10% off). A quick ride to Jefferson was next - where no trip would be complete without a visit to The Refindary Vintage Market 💗 Two floors of treasures! (we were treated to a much needed snack -we were starting to get “hangry” 😂😉) & Tina’s secret family recipe beverage 😆 - THANK YOU, TINA! Made some great purchases there as always. Village Marketplace was a great next stop - as we were treated to much needed delicious pizza to help fuel us for more shopping! Rows & rows of vendors & bins to hunt through! The owner graciously donated 2 MYSTERY BOXES that they have to purchase to us. One was given to the bus rider spending the most in the store ⭐️& the other was used for a quick fundraiser for our cat rescue -Kirila Kitty Ranch 🐈⬛🌵💕 As we traveled to our next destination bus riders were able to “buy in” for a chance to win items from the MYSTERY BOX 📦 It made for an interesting & fun ride while raising money for our cause. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED & to Village Marketplace for donating the boxes! We were a bit behind in schedule so didn’t make it to Fat Sally’s Warehouse, which is normally on this route - but it’s definitely one we’ll be sure to get to the next time! TOO MANY THRIFT STORES, NOT ENOUGH TIME is a good problem to have I guess, right?! 🤷🏻♀️ A not so quick stop to GOODWILL in the Harbor & we were heading back southbound - but made a detour to check out Tina's Treasures N Thrift in Orwell, who stayed open for us - THANK YOU, TINA! Two floors of both new & used items - all at great prices & a great way to end a long day of hunting deals 😅…..it’s always an ADVENTURE with us! 😊 when are you coming on the bus with us?
